From now on, young musicians in Belgium (FR and NL) can sign up for the international all-styles music competition! 

Imagine is a different music competition. It's pop, heavy metal, electro, jazz, hip-hop, classical, world music, ska, punk... It is music for all ears! Imagine 2015, that will be held the last weekend of June in Brussels, wants to encourage very young musicians by providing professional conditions in order to express their talent, inviting them to play before a large audience and boosting their capabilities and their creativity music through workshops, classes, jam sessions and all a series of activities organized within the framework of the contest.

Imagine is aimed at all participants aged between 12 and 20 years. Over the competition, they will be not only judged on their musical qualities, but also on their originality, the proper preparation of their performance, their ability to communicate with the public and their stage presence.

 

Applications in Belgium (NL and FR) for the competition are already open and bands can register online. Nearly 150 musicians, soloists and groups will be selected by the jury Imagine to occur 10 sessions of pre-selections (6 in Flanders and 4 in Wallonia).

At the end of these 10 musical sessions, 10 francophone and 10 Dutch-speaking groups will be selected for the 2 regional finals. 5 best French-speaking formations and the 5 best Dutch-speakers will then access to the national finals, when the winner will be selected to represent Belgium at Imagine 2016.
